Abstract

This paper, briefly reviews some constituent elements of the subject, based on which theoretical articulations and reflections are presented on the topic of the schizia of the eye and the gaze.Around this topic, which is presented in terms of disjunction, differential theoretical aspects in neurosis and in psychosis are pointed out. Likewise, hese differential aspects are exemplified by referring to dreams that were popularized by the main references of psychoanalysis (Freud and Lacan) and excerpts from literature. It is possible to highlight the presence of the eye in psychosis and to postulate that both the so called too much sight on the subject, as well as the insufficient gaze, produce the same result.
